copy and paste doesnt work

Hi wondering if anyone can explain a reason for this. the computer was working fine and two things have happened in about a months time,I can copy,but when I paste it freezes the screen I am in. Only happens in Internet Explorer I can paste in firefox.

also the curser jumps back in the middle of me typing something and types all the words into the middle of the message. I can never get a whole message typed without having to backspace etc.

Advanced
Reset. This will remove all the addons, which can be easily replaced. You will replace one at a time to ascertain the cause of the problem

Does typing problem happen with FF. If not the above may also solve that problem
