Wanting Opinions on a PC repair

I have a pc(will list what kind below) that is three years old. screen started acting up a while back....turned out to be the LCD video cable located behind the monitor on this laptop. years of opening and closing worked a break in the hair like wires.

MY QUESTION...........would you replace this cable with a new one or take a chance on a used one that could have the same chronic problem, but the used one is half price.

amd turionIIx2
nvidia graphics.

There is no right or wrong, it is subjective. For me I would go new. Why is the used one for sale, etc? Your computer is nearly new; everything else should be, too.

im with ya on that......i usually try to be cost conscious but when u order something online for your pc it may be better off not taking a chance and buy new.

You paid a lot of money for your computer, just as I did. Its an investment and that costs money. I know money is tight everywhere, but our computers deserve the best.
