Here's one for ya. Gold stars :D to the person who answers this one.

Have a CANON MP640 scanner/printer. works great. prints, scans, fine.

Canon Pixma MP-640 Multifunction at Camera Action Camera House the Digital Camera Specialists

One thing.

When you click the icon to scan; a 'Pictures' folder shows up magically on the desktop.
What is it? All the 'sample' wallpaper photos that came with the OS.

I delete it...and then it comes back if you repeat the process.

Could be just a short cut you are deleting next time try right clicking and see if the option go to file location is in the properties if so go there and delete them from there

    Weakest part of my computer is the graphics chipset. Only ever used a laptop. Also use USB Freeview TV Card Lenovo Docking Station External Speakers Other bits a pieces as needed
