microsoft tablet PC Input??

Hello, hope someone can help...?

Every time I boot up I get a dialogue box with Microsoft Tablet PC Input Component has stopped working and was closed.

I cannot get this to disappear and it seems to slow done the mouse pointer and turn it into a 'wheel' most of the time.

Any ideas?

Have just done it and it reports " windows Resource protection did not find any integrity violations."
