Could you guys check whether you can see the details/properties of an MSI on right-clicking? Properties like ProductName, Description, Manafacturer, etc.
The problem is I can see these properties in some other OS'es like XP/Windows 7, but for same MSI I can't see in Vista/Server 2008. I tried upgrading my Windows Installer from 4.0 to 4.5, but still the issue is not resolved. Also tried disabling UAC. That didn't work either. I upgraded Windows Installer from 3.x to V 4.5 in one of my XP machines.. and I can still see the details there. So, this is not a Windows Installer 4.x issue.
I had also checked the MSI in Orca, and I can see the property fields there. Could someone help me regarding this?
