Hi
Problem: Vista P. will not recognise my JVC GR-D240 when connected to the USB port of my Acer aspire 5735Z.
1) The cam/cord Fire Wire DV socket is connected via a converter to the computer USB port, Vista does not recognise the connection at all, no bleeps-
nothing.
2) With the same setup as in 1) both Windows 7 and Vista Standard not only recognise the connection but ask for installation software.
3) JVC offer a 'software disc' at a price of around £36.00, this seems a bit expensive for drivers has anyone had experience of this disc & does it do the business.
I would appreciate any help offered
thanks.
