WMPLOC.DLL Problem

Hi

I have Ultimate 64, I had a problem with the version number of WMPLOC.DLL, see attached. I run Kaspersky AV fully updated.
There is a lot of info on the net and in this newsgroup about how to fix this error however none have worked fully.

I have tried modifying the file version with resource hacker and I have tried all the dos commands to register the file version but this has only worked partially.

I have no entry for WMP in the Start/Programs list, nor is there one in Programs and Features "Turn Windows features on or off" list, my desktop shortcut was for the 32 bit version and that created the error, as did double clicking on a MP3 file.

I created a shortcut to the 64 bit version and that works however, even having associated the MP3 files with the 64 bit version I get the same error except that the numbers are reversed, that is instead of 18111 being expects it says 18065 was expected.

I hope I can get some help here, I do not want to change to a different player.
