How to get custom Visual Styles in vista

1. First download and install Vista Glazz from its website:

Download Vista Glazz

2. Then search Google or another search engine for a visual style website where you can download the style from:

Link to Google

3. Once you have downloaded the file you want put the visual style into a new folder in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes. Also put the EN US and the Theme folder into that folder you put the theme in

How to Access: Which you can access by pressing Windows Key/R or the Start Menu if you have it turned on in the customize section off the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties then copy and paste that into the box then it should open

4. Use this to make the new visual Styles not come up as Window's Aero in the box: Use Vista DeskHack, to choose Vista themes as you wish | Vista Home

It will just need to have more details added to it before it will be allowed as a tutorial. It's to basic right now.

That's a good start, but I would say that more detailed step by step instructions may be needed. Think of laying out the steps for a beginner as a guide. This way nothing may be overlooked or missed while following them.

I made it for these who have a good idea of how to use the computer

Also I'm sure there is other tutorials if you need to learn the simple stuff. Any suggestions on which ones I link to?

Sorry mate, but unless it has detailed step by step instructions it will remain here and not allowed as a tutorial. There's just to many points in the current steps that are not explained better.

They just need more explanation instead of just do this and that. Some of the this and that need more details. You can look through some of the other tutorials to help get a feel for this on how the steps are layed out.
