New Computer Build Speeds

Ok i just finished building a new desktop components as follows:

Motherboard: ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI ATX AMD

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 945 Deneb 3.0GHz Socket AM3 95W

Memory: Kingston HyperX Blu 2GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory

OS: Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit

But it seems like the computers slow, like on the desktop clicking around and opening and navigating thru programs?

Heyy, welcome to Vista Forums!

That motherboard looks damn nice! ;)
Maybe the OS needs some time to settle in, when i first built my computer, it was pretty slow, then after a while i noticed tis massive jump in performance.

I would check to make sure what programs are running in the background as this can slow you down, but since this is a new build there shouldnt be many.

Hope this helps you!
Daniel =)
