When I right click "my computer" and click properties, nothing happens. When I open "system" and click the link for device manager I get
c:\windows\system32\devmgmt.msc
windows cannot access the specified device path or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
i get that same error, but for different files when I click any of the links on the right column in system properties.
I have seen info that it may be a side effect of installing the latest nForce chipset and nic drivers for mcp55 chipset from nvidia.
I can navigate to devmgmt.msc right click and choose run as administrator and the device manager works fine.
i also get that message for sfclite.exe
