I finally have my new tower built up and running. AMD Phenom 2 X4 965 with 4GB of DDR3 1333mhZ.
Something I have never seen before, on bootup it says my ram is unganged??
What is that? I have done some googling, but I don't whether or not to change it to ganged or leave it as is?

I've had a quick look, and it basically refers only to multi-core CPUs that have the same number of RAM sticks installed as cores. In Ganged mode, the RAM behaves as one unit, and is shared between both cores in dual-channel mode, with each core having access to the full amount of RAM. In Unganged mode, the RAM runs in single-channel mode, with each processor core having exclusive (non-shared) access to a single stick of RAM.

I have an amd phenom ii x4 965 black edition, with 4GB of DDR3 1333mhZ, so does the word doc called GPU-Z show the correct information?

And am I better off with it ganged or unganged?
