Temporary Vista User + Deleted Files

So I logged on to my computer today. And all my files were not on my desktop, the background colour had also changed.

I did a quick search and desktop files in another folder. But then things started to get weird and I could open programs or word documents. I called My IT guy and he said that vista had created a temporary account and restarting would fix the problem. What he didnt tell me was that all my files that i put onto my temporary desktop would be deleted.

Is there any way to get them back?

First stop using the computer, the more you use it the more difficult it becomes to restore

If you got the Your user profile was not loaded correctly! You have been logged on with a temporary profile.

Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log off. Please see the event log for details or contact your administrator. error, then you might see if this tutorial below may be able to help you fix this.
