After plugging and then unplugging my Toshiba laptop (with Vista Home Premium) into a projector, the display on my laptop screen is different, with everything appearing bolder and more horizontally elongated.
This happened both times I have used a projector. After the first time, I dove into the display settings and hit something that reverted it back to normal, but I have clearly forgotten what I did to fix it the first time and am now at a loss. (I would describe my level of computer savvy as "reckless beginner" -- in other words, I am not afraid to try things, but really have no idea what I am doing.)
Everything seems set to the defaults under the display settings. It gives me the choice of selecting monitor 1 or 2, and IDs my laptop monitor as 1, which is what I have it set at. The font size is set at the default 96 dpi. The theme is windows vista. Under presentation settings, the present mode is turned off.
Any suggestions? Thanks so much for your time!
Greg
