Hello Everyone,

This is my first post on this forum, Ive heard about it from a lot of friends that use this Forum for there problems with Vista and thought I'd give it a go. :D

Recently Ive had noticed the time AM or PM on my vista has either been corrupted or hit a glitch. What i see is my Task Bar AM or PM in the time section has been changed to "time". Looking at my Time/Date settings I went in to see if I could rectify the problem with a "quick fix". But as I tried to change AM/PM settings the only options I've gotten to change to and from are "time" & "format"
At first I thought it would of been a virus but Norton 2010 & BitDefender 2010 have scanned and no viruses found, Gave my old friend SpyBot a run thru aswell and found no malware or bots.
I've been searching throughout the web & microsoft.com (getting sick on that damn site of " DID THIS FIX YOUR PROBLEM?) for a fix and have failed to come up with a "Fix"

I have created a Screenshot of the problem I am facing with clearly circled the problems for you guys & gals to have a peek at I've linked it below and attached a Jpeg of it to this thread for your viewing

Its not affecting my work so far using my laptop but its just annoying but I'm starting to think I might run into problems one day regarding AM/PM issues on a major scale if not fixed soon.
Any help would be great at the moment. and thank you in advanced :)

Regards,

Adrian

My Computer

Hi Adrian and welcome to Vista Forums :party:

I've had a quick look, and this information is stored in the registry.

Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International]
"s1159"="AM"
"s2359"="PM"

The following file should correct this for you. Simply download it and run. It will ask if you want to merge the information into the registry, click Yes and then OK.
