Removing item name from Control Panel/Programs List
I've just uninstalled Photoshop CS4 (after installing CS5).
However, the program name 'Adobe Photoshop CS4' is still listed in Control Panel/Programs list and it's annoying me!
The item was 300Mb+ and is now showing as 3.77Mb.
How can I get rid of it? I can't right click/delete. Is there another way?
Thanks.

Hello Dinarius,
It may be that the registry key was not deleted.
Download this free app and clean the registry.
Reboot and check.
CCleaner - Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download (Backup Registry When Prompted).
Hope this helps, good luck and post your results.

Stoneys,
Thanks for that. I did the following........
1. Downloaded and ran CCleaner. I ran Cleaner, Registry (backed up) and Tools. Brilliant app!
2. Checked in Control Panels. Now, CS4 had been reduced from 3.77Mb to zero. i.e. It was now just a name on the list.
3. Clicked on the Tools tab in CCleaner and highlighted CS4 on the list and chose Delete.
So, now I only have CS5 listed, which is fine and it seems to be working perfectly.
But, one weird thing....in CCleaner/Cleaner/Applications Tab, under Applications both CS3 and CS4 are listed and CS5 isn't listed at all! CS3 hasn't been on this machine for over 2 years. What's that about?
Thanks.

There must be remnants of it somewhere.
Open a search and take a look for anything related to anything CS.
