I seen yesterday that a buddy of mine has windows 7 64-bit. I wanted to do one of my favorite tweaks I learned here. The Change the Maximum Download Sessions in Internet Explorer or all Browsers. I used the 64-bit allotted slot and afterwards checked, and it was ok but, I have many notes that I have taken from this site and was sitting there thinking... This one I just did should be ok but I'm not sure I should try and apply what I have in these notes because, I acquired them from here. He has 4 GB so size tweaks aren't an issue but, is QoS in 7 enabled by default? and is it set at 20% like vista? I had to leave, so I didn't get a chance to look. There having slow download problems and just purchasing this HP system 3 or 4 months ago, shouldn't be having this problem. My mothers has the same set-up and uses it for home use only... as do they. Any ideas? If so, I will have to apply them at a later date because they live some distance away... Thanks
I forgot to ask... I think I read that this allocated bandwidth is used for higher priority downloads like updates from Microsoft. If that's true.. I need to look else-where.
