can anyone please help me,i can,t find any information anywhere about this problem.The ktmrm for distributed transaction coordinator service will not restart in services error code 0x80070026,i,ve also done a system health report on vista and ktmrm is reported as having an unexpected error code the service did not stop gracefully suggesting the service may have crashed or one of it,s components stopped in an unsupported way

The service depends on Remote Procedure Call and Security Accounts Manager. Anything on them?

Rpc and security accounts manager don,t show any probs on event viewer,but it appears that,that friend of mine who looked at my desktop a while back has stopped a lot of the microsoft services from running,so i,m beginning to think that,s been the cause of most of my problems,i,ll let you know when i,m done how things are running.

I suggest you do the following:
1. Run System File Checker, see How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7.
2. Click Start > Run, type MSConfig, and click OK. In MSConfig, click oin the Services tab, and make sure that all of the services are enabled (i.e. have check marks); if not, click on Enable All.
3. If you still have the problem, download and run MalwareBytes, see Malwarebytes. Make sure that you boot your computer into Safe mode to run it, to avoid conflicts with other programs.

just letting you know someone already suggested to download and run malwarebytes a few weeks ago and when i did it only ran for a few seconds before i got a bluescreen error.So he suggested super antispyware and that did the same thing.

Just normal should be OK. Actually, before you do that, you should check in Administrative Tools > Services.
Look for any that are disabled, click on each, check if the path starts with C:\Windows\System32. If it is, change startup type to Manual. Afterwards, check with MSConfig.

i,ve removed infections rebooted in normal mode and now windows has blocked some of the startup progs,also since setting startup to normal mode i am getting this error message error in c:\windows\system32 dll missing entry:nvsvc start,i presume it,s because i recently updated nvidia display driver.

Yep, that's one of the NVidia dll's. Try reinstalling the drivers.

If you're not using stuff like Microsoft’s Personal Web Server, or Microsoft SQL Server, it's probably safe to disable it. You might have to disable Distributed Transaction Coordinator, too. Try it and see how it goes.

Run SFC in Safe mode (How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7).
You might have to run it more than once if it doesn't correct all errors.
The second part of the instructions creates a file called sfcdetails.txt in the directory shown in command prompt. If there are still unrepaired files, upload it.
While you're there, run Malwarebytes again just to make sure.
