Missing and Corrupt files

Hi,

After two days of trying to recover my vista installation I've got a new version of vista and it it's still telling me i've got missing or corrupt files.

Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going crazy!!!!

What more can I do!!!!!!!!

Where can get the correct files/ a good recovery disk/ a bootable virus cd (tried bit defender - didn't work).

I've read soooo many pages about this and nothing works. Startup repair - doesn't work; complete system recovery - doesn't work; formatting during the vista installation - doesn't work.


Please help!!!

if you have tried all of the system repair options its time to start checking out the hardware, download bootable diagnostic software for checking out your harddrive from the manufactorers website and try that for starters.
next do the same for memory.
another cause of bad data could be the psu or motherboard with a fault but they take a more experience eye to solve, while the case is open and with power disconnected check to see all parts are free of dust and cable connectors are snug.

I ran windows memory diagnostic and vaio hardware check and everything was ok.

But I'll try your suggestions and let you know.
