How do I remove the information from my Image files in Vista Home premium x64

Hi All,
I am using Vista Home Premium SP2 x64 and would like to know. Is there a way to remove all the information under 'properties' in all of my Image/Picture files? I mean date taken, camera used and all that stuff. I tried a solution offered by Doyle Computers for Vista but no luck.:(

Thanks Rich that is what I wanted; but all my pictures come up with no check boxs
after I press "Remove Properties and Personal Information" at all so I guess the info cannot be removed. Bummer! I tried to add to your rep but they wouldn't let me. Too soon from the last time LOL.

Sorry that I could not help you again. Although rep is really appreciated, thoughts of gratitude are even more welcome. I am just disappointed that the traditional solution is not applicalbe in your situation.

Just a thought, and it would be time consumming, but if you "saved as" a different name etc, could you remove the properties information?

I don't know, that would be an exercise. I may try to open a few in PSE8 and hit 'Save As' and name them something else and save the batch under the same name and see if that works. I'll let you know on this thread.

Hi Rich,
Not good news. I even tried a rename using the filters on my 'Batch Photo' program....NOGO!:cry::confused::(:sa: Looks like I'm stuck with what I got. Went into my Canon 50D camera program and killed the entry that puts this metafile info on pictures in the first place..:devil:..Take that! LOL. Gotta learn more about editing metafiles.

Just knew if I kept at it I would find the solution. :D Found in a very unlikely place too. Would you believe the 'Mothership Microsoft'! :shock: Well here it is and it does do the trick and on a whole batch too.
