hey there. ok my old GAMING laptop had a Intel Centrino Duo 1.80ghz 1.80ghz processor. Im a bit confused. if it has 2 processors each 1.80 ghz does that mean it has 3.60ghz if you add them up... Is that how it works???

No, that's not the case. They can each run different processes at 1.8GHz. It is not a barnstormer. What would be more telling would be the MIPS - but they don't give you that info these days.
