Can't downgrade vista to xp please help

I have notebook HP 530. Is it possible to install xp over vista on HP 530 machine? Also, when xp setup load files, i get this bsod:

Hi, have a look at IT Resource Center forums - How to downgrade from Vista to XP? .

It seams that you have to disable SATA native mode in the BIOS before this can work.

You can find all the XP drivers at HP 530 Notebook PC -  Download drivers and software - HP Business Support Center

Yeah, You need to go into BIOS and disable the Hard Drive interface SATA, and make it ATA.
