If you want to do what I want to do as the subject said, you DO NOT do this:
"click & hold mouse left button while on the target directory & press CTRL+ALT, then release left mouse button"
Ya, I know this works with previous Windows system. But in Vista, this seems create a "restricted" shortcut & you can never find a shortcut tab in properties dialog.
Instead, you SHOULD do this:
Copy the full path of your target directory & click right button on Desktop background, then choose shortcut, when it asks you the target to shortcut, paste the full path of your target path you copied just now & press ok. This will create a "general" shortcut & now you can find that shortcut tab in properties dialog.
Hope this helps people!
