hi i have a sony vaio vgn-cr14gn. I turned it on this morning to find a singlie light blue line appear as soon as the boot screen came up. Ive rebooted, Rolled back an updated driver and looked on google but it doesn't disappear. Now i have lost my driver for my graphics card and my pc has gone from 4.8 to 1.0 on the windows experiance index.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.

ALSO I am getting windows 7 will it help if i upgraded or did a fresh install??

thanks

It's always a good idea to do a clean install rather than an upgrade, as no junk and other problems are left behind.

You may have a problem with your graphics card, however. Upgrading to Windows 7 will not fix that.

Have you tried a System Restore?
