Help: AppCrash Explorer.exe

Greetings vista forums, I need serious help.

I've just started having problems with the following programs not working:
Windows explorer
Windows host process (Rundll32)

These problems occurred after a download, so i'm suspecting something bad. :(

The details are as follows:

I've never had problems like this before. As soon as I restart either application, they fail again, and the cycle continues. I've considered going into safe mode and removing "SonicHDDemuxer.dll" from System32, but I don't want to touch anything until I get a word from someone.

If anyone can help, they will have my undying gratitude.

::UPDATE::
It seems that SonicHDDemuxer.dll is related to Roxio Creator. Perhaps uninstalling this in safe mode will help?

Hi Riptor552,

Download and run the free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and remove any infections. Do this from Safe Mode if necessary. I would not recommend just deleting the dll at this point, but if you do try this, make a backup of it first. If Malwarebytes does not help (and I think it *will* help) then you could try to uninstall Roxio Creator, just not until Malwarebytes has failed.

If your system does come up clean of viruses, you could try going into your command promt and using the "sfc /scannow" command. This will tell you if you have any corrupt system files.
