I have read through the forums and don't find others with the same issues I have with the "Thunking Spooler APIS from 32 to 64 has stopped working" error.
I sometimes have issues with printing, but moreso encounter the error after a windows update when working in Quickbooks and in MS Works Spreadsheet.
Right clicking within the program to perform a task, usually "format", gives me the error. When I hit the "close" button it merely sends my spreadsheet to the back of other windows open, and then pops up the format box and allows me to do what I want. Still, it is very time consuming and frustrating.
I also run into problems with Quickbooks when trying to send a report as a pdf in email. And once I get the error I can't print in any program and have to go through Quickbooks' elaborate reinstall of their pdf printer, with restart after restart.
I go through this process about every two weeks and it is killing my productivity. I am operating on an HP Pavilion Model 9400f 64 bit computer AMD Phenom 9750 Quad Core Processor, 2.4 Ghz, 8 gigs ram, Vista Home Premium SP2, Works 9, and QB Premium 2007 - 2009.
Has anyone else encountered these issues with this error? Have you found a fix?
Thanks.
