Hello 2 all
Am a fresher & newbie in this place of high tech geniuses & i require ur help in regards to this changing of icons on vista
I have downloaded various icon packs to use on my vista & also am familiar with changing the same but the icons i have downloaded are in.png file format which vista refuses to recognize , i mean when i click customize on the folder or shortcut properties am able to browse to the destination of the downloaded icons folder but it does not show anything under .ico selection extension so i tried to view all files options which displayed each & every icon but in .png format & when selected to apply to the desired folder or shortcut it gives out an error msg stating there are no .ico files at this location .
Hope my above mentioned query is easily understood & resolved asap so i can pimp my lappie too.
