Boot screen messed

My "ulstata.sys" driver got corrupted and had to completely rebuild the boot options.
On doing that I am now back to the original SP2 Boot Screen and am not able to change it back to my custom image via TuneUp Utilities.

I'm kind of guessing one of the "winload.exe.mui" file isn't allowing the change.
"C:\Windows\System32\Boot\en-US" has only "winresume.exe.mui"
whereas
"C:\Windows\System32\en-US" has both?

Can you please help me, I've tried copying the loadfile in System32/en-US but it's not letting me paste in the System32/Boot/en-US due to some folder protectioin. although i've taken full control.

Tuneup Utilities is ssaying it's applied the boot screen but vista is still loading the SP2 boot screen.

Run a sfc /scannow command, then see if you can change your boot screen with one of the options in the tutorial below after restarting the computer.

I've previously tried sfc/scannow and it restored it to the GUI but after trying with the Software it put it back to the SP2 Boot Screen, is there a way to put "winload.exe.mui" in System32/Boot/en-US?

Neither program changed your boot screen for you?

I've tried BootSkin Vista and that worked but i kind of prefere to use TuneUp as i can add custom images, bootskin vista doesn't allow that but then i can adjust

I have this already but it's Just for the Logon? I need one for the bootscreen lol, it's really bugging me now.

I discovered more problems, Windows Update is not Installing any updates...Aaargh
