Password protecting files and folders

I only have one user account (administrator), because having multiple accounts causes my laptop to lag, but multiple people are on my computer daily. there are folders and files i would like to keep private,(such as things for school, business, work, ect) and password protected. Is there a way to do that??


ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

I do not think that you have this option with Home Basic. I have premium and this option is not available to me. You may have to look for other software that can be downloaded that will allow you to perform such a task. All the best to you.
