Admin Policies Prevent Install

Hello, I have a Dell PC running Vista 32 and wanted to upgrade to Win 7 and am just finding out I cant delete software from my PC because I aperently dont have permission.

1) Carolyn -Administrator


Anyway, We need to uninstall some software from the control panel and we keep getting and error:
Code: 
The system administrator has set policy's that prevent this installation.

How do I get admin right to uninstall/install software? Thanks!

That looks like a good solution, but sometimes things that should work, do not.

In addition to the above, you can try using the secret administrator that has more authority than the regular administrator account. When done with this Adm, disable it again, and save for future use. Do not use it as an everyday account.

Works in 7 and Vista.
