I am new the forum, but with 15 years experience as a PC user, and currently use Vista Business. I would like to save and restore icon layouts for folders other than the desktop. Layout of icons and grouping in different parts of the screen aids in function. I have used DeskSave for this function, but it works only on the desktop. Does Vista store the folder layout ina hidden file that could be backed up? Or is there any other way to record and restore the layout of icons?
