When I turn on my computer and then turn on my monitor, my monitor automatically goes to sleep displaying no vga input and no dvi input, monitor is going to sleep. Sometimes if I switch the plugs on different sockets on the power bar enough, my monitor will come on as normal. I tried cleaning the computer with AVG anti virus, spybot search and destroy, and ad-aware. Nothing works, please help!

I would start by updating the video drivers.
