I'm at a crossroads right now? Any ideas?

I recently built my own system but I still have many questions. I am self-taught and based on my style I tend to go "all-the-way" trying to avoid future upgrade snags...so, I built my system with the hope of not being outdated 6-12 months after completing my system build.

Recently I embarked on configuring the system as a RAID 0, but after visiting this forum and reading many of the posts regarding RAID--and the fact that I have always wanted to build a dual OS system--I have decided not to continue with the RAID setup.

I currently have the C:\ with the Vista Ultimate x64 and several photos I had been working on--oh, around 16Gb of data!

I am at a point that I have 2 WD 1-Tb 72Krpm storage devices, that I can either use them in a RAID 1 configuration with the C:\ & OS, or delete them and use each to hold a diferent OS where I can test and run different scenarios and store different data.

I'm at a crossroads right now? Any ideas?
