Hi

I recently cleaned my PC with a fresh install of Vista Home Premium

The OEM key on the side of my case is not accepted by Vista

How can I activate it using my OEM key on the side of my case?

If you can you are going to have to call MS and activate that way.
Just tell them that it is OEM and the company that made the computer.
They should give you a new key.

Some companies, like Dell, suppy a DVD. Is that your case? If so use the key on the DVD.

In any event, if you used a DVD, the key is on the sleeve.

If that is a custom built pc with an oem sytem builder installation - or a mass market oem preinstall - MS do not support the software.

You can try the MS activation line - you may be lucky.

MS will probably tell you whoever installed it is responsible for it.
