Make XP Install Disk from Dell Install Disk

Hey folks. Does anyone know if it is possible to re-image a Dell XP installation disk so it may be installed on another brand PC?

Also would like to thank everyone responsible for the Vista slipstream article and the respondents to my questions. Everything worked and now the once slow, crapware-ridden laptop is running as it should!

Thank you for that! It installed just like a MS disk, cheerfully announcing I had 30 days to activate.

The Dell disk, on a Dell, installed without the need for activation. I have no idea how it does that but I had previously installed and activated using some bootleg disk, but it had a virus or something. The original Dell software was
long gone with XP Pro installed in the interim.
