File format identifier?

Can anyone tell me of a program like G-Spot that would work with file types other than video. For example if you dragged one of your cashe files into it you could see what it is opened with, is it a media file or search result.

just right click on any file & choose "properties", that tells you what type of file & what opens it.....hope this is what you want!!

Hello ilikefree,

You can also look in Default Programs to see what the "Current Default" program is used to "Open With" that file extension.

No that won't do a cashe file I won't be able to go to Firefox cashe and see which are the video files all files there have no extentions that I can see
