I created a new partition on my 64 bit Dell studio so I can dual boot Windows 7 and Vista. I went into bios and changed the boot order so cd/dvd was first. the disc is spinning, but it continually boots into the vista partition Even after changing the boot order, I still went to F12 and directed it to the cd/dvd drive there too, but same result. What am I doing wrong?
Secondly, the reason I deleted the original partition with Windows 7 on it in the first place was because it continually booted to a black screen. I updated my Nvidia drivers and that seems to be the issue, b/c I've read hundreds of others with Nvidia drivers with the same problems. I am hoping once I install 7 again I can figure it out, but by the mass numbers of others with far more computer knowledge than myself, I doubt that is going to happen.
Thank you so much for you help.
