With Vista, I currently have a 1.6GHz Intel Pentium dual core processor with and ASUS board, and i plan on switching to an ECS board (Newegg.com - ECS A780GM-A Ultra AM2+/AM3 AMD 780G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards) coupled with an AMD Athlon II processor (Newegg.com - AMD Athlon II X4 620 Propus 2.6GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops).
I have read that a viable option is to Repair install Vista.
Will this work, or is it easier to do a clean install?
Btw, Home Basic x86, 2gb ddr2 mem, 320 gb sata hdd
