I see a message 'backup did not complete successfully 0x800700AA' in my laptop with Vista home premium, using a 16 gb Flash drive. I also tried another Flash drive, no luck. My last successful backup on October 11, 2008. Can I delete my backup and try again? Can someone help me?
Thanks, alanrr

There are 2 possible reasons:

1. your flash drive is too small. Images can be a lot bigger than 16GB. I have some that are as big as 65GB.
2. your flash drive is formatted fat32. For imaging you need NTFS.

I suggest you get an external disk of 250 to 500GBs and try again. You might have some luck if you use free Macrium. They write small images. Here is how: http://www.vistax64.com/software/261727-image-your-system-free-macrium.html But you still need to make sure your flash drive is NTFS.
