Hello. I recently followed all the steps in the How to Reset Windows Explorer Folder View Settings to Make Vista Remember tutorial (using REGEDIT) to fix the problem of Windows not remembering the window sizes and positions upon closing them. It helped alot, but I still have one problem: When I use the internet explorer Favorites shortcuts found under Start, the windows open shifted to the right as if another internet explorer window is already open (when there is none open). If I don't manually move the window back to the left before closing it, all subsequent internet explorer windows open in that shifted position. Can this be fixed?
