Had my hardrive combined into one, now i cant download or change folder names. help!

I recently had my hardrive combines. It wass split into two sections. Well after I had that done I have not been able to download or change the names of new folders. What can this be?

When downloading I get

error 1606 coul not find public desktop

:cry:

this is my business laptop so I really need it.

Are you downloading to the right drive (ex. D:\)
You might be trying to download to an older drive. When downloading something, use the files explorer and choose your desktop. Make sure that you use the extended window when choosing where to download to.....
