I used SpeedFan and overclocked the FSB on an old Athlon XP 2800+ in my D325 workstation. It was rated at 2.08GHz and it is now at approximately 2.313GHz. Any other suggestions on how to increase it any more? The FSB reached its limit at 185MHz before the PC locks up and the multiplier is at the max of 12.5. I have vista Home Premium x86 on it and it runs great.
Just and FYI...by increasing the CPU clock the WEI went from 3.5 for the CPU up to 3.8.
Thanks in advance and I understand if I can't get any more out of it.
