task bar programs on the right side not left

help i have installed a update for my vista computer and now something has changed... when you minimized one on your programs it gos down to the left side next to the quick launch buttons. with me it has changed to the right side of the task bar near the system tray. and the drag button that's usually there it gone. how do i resolve this? harley

Hi Harlza, If you right click on your taskar is it locked if so uncheck it and your slideable seperator should reappear
