I putting a new computer together for my daughters day care center, has anyone figured out a way to lock the icons to the desktop for Vista Home yet. I can do it on my computer runing Vista ultimate 64, but am unable to keep it on the desktop for home version after it goes into sleep and is awakened, it is gone from the desktop.
I am now learning why people who were running vista, dispised it. Vista home does appear to be a couple of steps backwards from XP. Vista Ultimate has so many more capibilities.
Will be upgrading this Vista Home to Windows 7 via free upgrade cd that is to follow for buying this computer, is it any better?
