One of the most aggravating things about Vista is that you have to add a new column in each folder's window if you want to be able to sort that folder's contents by file type (or file extension.) If you only sort by file type on rare occasion, that would not be a problem. Has someone written a little script that would add "Type" as a default column every time you open a folder?
