USB drive Paging error

I have a seagate 500G usb drive attached to my corp laptop, as they only give me 80 Gig internal drive. I have the XP OS set to no paging file on the USB drive. . .

In event viewer, I get paging errors on the USB hard drive. . . I use the hard drive mainly for backup and all historical data files.

I have run the seagate through chkdsk, no errors, defrag, just fine. . .

why am i getting a paging file error with this drive?

thanks

sportsguy (yah, i know, not a Vista question!)

USB drives have no paging file. What do you mean? Have you moved the paging file?

Please go to Start...Run (press Win + R keys)
Type in "diskmgmt.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Resize the window so we can see everything, then please post a screenshot/picture of that window when your USB drive is plugged in.
