iexplore.exe - Application error-system fader

Please tell me what this means and how to fix it. I was on a real estate web site looking at houses when my computer froze. Application generated an exception that could not be handled. Process Id=0X1548 (5448) thread Id=0X13b4 (5044). Click OK to terminate or cancel to debug. I clicked debug. System Fader iexplorer___The instruction@0X065e0130 referenced memory @0X065e0130. The memory could not be written.

Your temporary files folder is most likely full when something was trying to be written to it. Try to clear your temporary internet files and see if that helps. If not then there is a folder with just temporary files in general. I'll help you find it if that first option doesn't work.

Sean, thanks for your reply. I went to Disk Cleanup and dumped the temporary internet files. Those were 52MB. My temp files are 984MB. Per your instruction, I haven't dumped them yet. Is that folder in disk cleanup also? How can I tell how much space is alloted for each of those temp files?

Yes that folder should be in the Disk Cleanup, from what I remember that is. If it is then yes, it is safe to remove them. They are only Temporary Files; nothing important.
