Running 64 bit Vista Ultimate, a AMD Quad core on a Gygabyte board.......Biggest problem is usually when playing an online game like Unreal, my monitor goes black and the PC restarts on it's own. After checking the event log, this is what it says:
BootTsVersion2BootStartTime2009-10-24T21:35:24.749ZBootEndTime2009-10-24T21:40:23.431ZSystemBootInstance383UserBootInstance370BootTime297847MainPathBootTime60934BootKernelInitTime17BootDriverInitTime1541BootDevicesInitTime25275BootPrefetchInitTime38870BootPrefetchBytes1012482048BootAutoChkTime0BootSmssInitTime12659BootCriticalServicesInitTime513BootUserProfileProcessingTime1635BootMachineProfileProcessingTime3BootExplorerInitTime6766BootNumStartupApps12BootPostBootTime236913BootIsRebootAfterInstallfalseBootRootCauseStepImprovementBits0BootRootCauseGradualImprovementBits0BootRootCauseStepDegradationBits0BootRootCauseGradualDegradationBits0BootIsDegradationfalseBootIsStepDegradationfalseBootIsGradualDegradationfalseBootImprovementDelta0BootDegradationDelta0BootIsRootCauseIdentifiedfalse
And when I check for online help is says none available and I don't know what I should do next...???
Guessing I shoild take her to the garage for a tune up?
Any ideas would be greatly appriciated.

Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Save the report as an .nfo file
Zip it up and attach/upload the .zip file with your next post

My file size is 2.01 and the max nfo size allowed is 1.90 so it wouldn't send it. If I can I will attach it to an email and send it to you?

You've got a bunch of disabled printers - and a bunch of errors from HP printer software.
I'd suggest uninstalling all of the printer software from Control Panel...Programs and Features...Uninstall a program.

Once everything is uninstalled, check to make sure that the printers are uninstalled from the Printers applet in Control Panel. If you have a printer to reinstall, download fresh copies of the drivers from the manufacturer's website (don't use the CD).

You also have an item called OToolbar on your system (likely a part of the PayPal Virtual Debit Card). Please uninstall it and ensure that all of the add-ons it uses are removed from the Tools menu of Internet Explorer. If you wish to reinstall it, please download a fresh copy after removing the current copy.

I'd also suggest running SFC.EXE /SCANNOW from an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt AFTER you've removed all the stuff I mentioned earlier.

Thanks for the reply but I wont be able to do this for a couple days. It looks like the cooling system in my GTX280 video card has failed and I am working on getting that replaced first. That really stinks cause it's only a couple weeks out of waranty.:( I'll get back to you after I get it running again.
Thanks
Mike

I'd suspect that the bad cooling on the video card is more likely to cause your problems than anything that I've previously suggested.

Good luck!

Thanks and I will let you know what if found when it's all been addressed.
