Hi! I was wondering if there was a way to disable the drag and drop toolbars on the desktop. I keep accidentally making them when I don't mean to, and when I close them it rearranges my destop Icons and generally makes work for me. I would love to be able to just turn this function off until I need it. Thanks.

If you are talking about the taskbark at the bottom of the screen.. You can "right-click" on it and press "Lock the Taskbar"
This should fix your problem.

Thank you for the response, although what I am actually trying to figure out is about the toolbars that get created when you select things on the desktop and drag them off the edge of the screen and create a toolbar that way. I would like to be able to turn off this toolbar creation.

Sorry, but the only way to not create a Desktop Toolbar is to not drag a folder to the edge of the screen and release.
