I'm running vista home basic 32 bit
I've done alot of tweaking to optimize performance from visual,to disabling unneeded services. And everything runs smoothly but when I boot up vista hangs at the welcome screen with the cursor busy icon frozen. This can happen for up to 2 minutes then my desktop will show and my start up items as well as rockdock takes a good bit to load.
I only have 5 start up items 2 of which are on a 90 sec delay
Rocketdock
Pc tools firewall
Avast scanner
java update
windows defender.
Is there anyway I can stop the hangups?
