I do apologize, as I'm pretty sure this has come up before, but searching for such general terms as "delete" tends to bring up a whole world of threads, none of which appear related.
I have a ghost file sitting in my download directory, that I cannot delete. When I attempt to do so, I get an error
I have made a number of attempts to fix. I tried to rename the file, get the same error, have rebooted a few times, won't delete, tried pasting a file into the same directory, and renaming it the same as the ghost file, extension and all, to see if that would somehow "merge" the files, and allow me to delete, no luck. I even attempted to search for a reference to the file in regedit, but found nothing.
Any idea how to get rid of this pesky annoyance?
Thanks as always,
Russell
